ib vogt GmbH enjoys a successful financial year in 2012 and anticipates further growth for 2013

Berlin, 9th April 2013: ib vogt GmbH enjoyed a successful financial year in 2012 with a turnover of 45 million euros. The operational result was almost double that of 2011. The company anticipates further growth for 2013 and is focussing its activities on Europe and new markets in Asia.

ib vogt GmbH enjoyed a successful financial year in 2012. Turnover totalled approximately 45 million euros, while the operational result was almost double that of the previous year. The increase is due primarily to an extension of the field of activity along the value added chain, as well as activities in new markets.

During the past year, ib vogt, as an EPC and EPCM partner, has produced solar power plants with a rated output of 40 MWp in Germany, The UK and Eastern Europe. Strong growth is planned for 2013: already during the first quarter of 2013, the company completed projects of 30 MWp; further projects with a total rated output of over 100 MWp are currently being developed for 2013.

During the past two years, ib vogt has repositioned itself and has significantly increased its range of activities. In addition to the existing activities – project development, “EPC” (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and “O & M” (Operations and Maintenance) – the company is now itself investing in solar power plants and continues to expand its own portfolio of photovoltaic systems.

Alongside an increasing number of projects in Europe, ib vogt also anticipates increased growth in the Asian market. In order to better serve the new regional focal points in India and South-East Asia, the company has taken its internationalisation strategy a step further forward. The company is reinforcing its presence in South-East Asia and India with the establishment, in collaboration with local partners, of “nv vogt ltd” in Singapore. The realisation of the first innovative projects in these markets – such as the expansion and replacement of diesel generated power through grid integrated photovoltaic solutions – is expected for 2013.
