ib vogt GmbH strengthens its management team to accelerate its international expansion and in particular the build-out its 300 MWp United Kingdom project pipeline

David Hogg, the 25 year veteran solar industry executive has been appointed to CEO of ib vogt GmbH. The move together with the appointment of Carl von Braun as CFO will enable the firm to accelerate its significant international expansion plans.

Berlin, 10/6/2013: Having commissioned over 55 MWp of solar power plants in the UK to date and established itself as a significant participant in the UK solar market with investments in a 50 MWp portfolio of operating solar power plants, ib vogt GmbH is now expanding and strengthening its organisation for future growth.

In the UK market the company aims to accelerate the financing and built-out of its 300 MWp project pipeline over the coming 2-3 years and is additionally expanding in South East Asia and India.

The appointment of David Hogg, the former COO of Suntech Power in Wuxi, China and CEO of Norwegian solar cell and module manufacturing company Innotech Solar, together with Carl von Braun who was previously responsible for project financing and corporate development at Suntech in Europe will add to the strength of the ib vogt executive team making it one of the most experienced in this segment of the solar industry. They will work closely with Anton Milner, the co-founder and long-time CEO of Q-Cells, who will now focus on corporate development and financing as well as Dagmar Vogt, the company founder and also a veteran and pioneer in photovoltaic. The company has recently strengthened its overall team in a number of technical and commercial areas and will be looking to recruit additional experts in international project financing and asset management of solar parks.
