Customs Coordinator

We are looking for a committed individual to lead and enhance the logistic function across the region, with a strong focus in the Philippines projects. In this position, you will demonstrate detailed knowledge on end-to-end customs processes, ensure customs declarations are being completed in an accurate and timely manner, and closely coordinate with local and international stakeholders., as part of the EPC APAC team.
Your Job
- Coordinating closely with local and international suppliers, forwarding agents, recipients, and colleagues.
- Execution of complete tracking process (EPC related).
- Managing customs clearance processes (EPC related).
- Coordination between the Contractor, Transportation service provider, Broker/Agencies and Customs offices for the project goods/equipment (EPC related).
- Optimize Supply Chain. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, negotiate costs, and improve efficiency.
- Approving and archiving of orders and shipping documents as well as invoices.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, negotiating skills, networking.
- Experience in business process analysis and design is a plus.
- Team player with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to build partnerships and collaborate globally and cross-functionally.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Law, Business Administration or equivalent ; candidates with a strong technical background are preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum: Five (5) years of experience in logistics management, with a proven track record of success.
- Preferred: Renewable or similar power industry experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision making
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, transport regulations, and industry best practices
- Personal Attributes: Assertive, confident, with excellent communication skills. Team player with problem-solving abilities and an independent working style;
