EPC Development Support – Coordinator (m/f/d)

The EPC Development Team plays a key role in coordinating the preparation and realization of a Solar PV project. As part of the EPC Projects Department the team is the project management office of the company and also responsible for several related functions like EPC cost budgeting, scheduling or contract drafting. The Team prepares projects for realization in close collaboration with the Business Development Team. The EPC Development Support Coordinator supports the Business Development on developing new opportunities and bringing them to backlog status by delivering and coordinating the required support of the internal EPC departments. The EPC Development Support Coordinator will mainly be responsible for early-stage opportunities until their transition to the realization phase.

Your tasks will include:

  • Turning “Opportunity” into “Backlog” Projects by supporting the commercial and technical project planning
  • Management and coordination of major EPC deliverables between our Business Development and EPC Teams requested through the Order Management System
  • Further development of our Order Management System and the related EPC product catalogue
  • Represent the Procurement and Construction Department towards Business Development during the Development Phase.
  • Preparation of EPC cost estimations, cashflow planning and project timeline by using forecast data, analysis of current projects and tracking of future developments
  • Assisting the preparation of EPC proposals and management of EPC tenders
  • Definition of new processes, standards and workflows on an interdepartmental level to facilitate generation of new projects
  • Gain broad understanding of company’s business as well as deep insight in whole value chain of PV power plant projects.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in industrial engineering, renewable energies or related engineering courses
  • Several years of professional and technical experience in the stated task area, preferable focusing on ground-mounted PV systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate independently between interdisciplinary teams and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Expertise on costs, planning, structure and function of PV (and PV-Hybrid) Systems
  • Experience in preparation of EPC cost estimations, proposal documents and tender processes
  • Professional skill level in Data Analytics, MS Office 365 and related IT applications
  • Positive attitude and affinity to business topics and issues
  • Languages: English (excellent command), other languages also welcome
