Land Acquisition Specialist

The Land Acquisition Specialist is a Project-based role which will be responsible in facilitating land acquisition requirements for one of ib vogt's solar projects based in the province of Iloilo in the Philippines in support of Project development activities.
- Work with the Land Acquisition Manager in screening new site locations in partnership with Project Development Managers.
- In the absence of or in support of the Land Acquisition Manager, represent the company to landowners, presenting project opportunities and establishing new relationships.
- Work with the Land Acquisition Manager in negotiation and execution of land lease and purchase agreements, securing right of way for transmission lines and substations.
- Work closely with transmission line route assessment, land survey and other land related service providers .
- Maintain open communication with landowners and municipalities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of signed land leases, including registration processes with the Land Survey.
- Maintain and/or establish good relationships with relevant external stakeholders/government agencies involved in securing land related documents.
- Provide support to team members and colleagues as needed throughout other project phases.
- Educational background suitable for the task.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the same field.
- Previous work experience in land management and contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in project and document management.
- Motivation to learn new things and go outside of your comfort zone.
