For our development in France we are looking for a solar land prospector (Full time, permanent contract), 
Your Job
Your role will be to ensure the prospecting of ground-based solar projects (possibly shading), with a permanent concern for local consultation and the economic viabilitý of the projects.  
 
As a privileged interlocutor/e of the various territorial stakeholders hosting renewable energy plants (landowners (public or private) - elected officials and local authorities, State services, local residents, design offices, business providers, etc.), you will coordinate and supervise all actions prior to the establishment of solar plants. 
 
In this capacity, your main tasks are  
 
  • Identify available land for the development of new solar photovoltaic projects (ground-mounted power plants) using your network and the cartographic atlas provided 
  • Development of institutional and commercial relations with the networks of contacts likely to bring new opportunities (elected officials, administrations, associations, agencies, individuals, etc.). A good knowledge of the local environment is necessary. 
  • Pre-feasibility analysis (administrative, environmental, urban planning, technical, etc.) of projects, in coordination with the technical and financial teams based in Lyon. This should include obtaining the elements necessary for this analysis (technical constraints, easements to be respected for the construction of the parks, land valuation, etc.). 
  • Conducting negotiations with the landowners in order to secure the land (signing of a lease agreement, purchase option, etc.) 
  • Designing economically viable projects within the framework of procedures and regulations, in consultation with local stakeholders;  
  • Ensure active monitoring in order to identify new sites, identify calls for tenders and calls for projects in the area of prospection, work with business introducers. Participate in the preparation and drafting of responses adapted to the context, defend them in order to be selected and organise the positioning of the company with a view to enriching the project portfolio.  
  • Report on the activity via the monthly activity report and monitoring tools ;  
  • Manage the project scope with a high degree of autonomy within the framework of the defined objectives and take on the role of referent under the responsibilitý of your agency manager. 

Your profile
 
  • Technical or commercial training (Bac +4) 
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the identification of photovoltaic/wind energy sites, real estate sector 
  • Excellent knowledge of town planning regulations and ability to quickly analyse the potential of a plot of land in order to study the feasibility of an operation from a technical and administrative point of view 
  • Autonomous, pro-active, responsible and good interpersonal skills 
  • Good communicator, ability to understand and convince various audiences 
 
Passionate about new energies, you have good technical knowledge and master the administrative procedures necessary to successfully complete industrial projects (private or public sectors).
