Your tasks will include:
- Proactively support the development of large-scale ground-mounted solar PV and storage projects in Hungary, including analyzing project constraints, securing land lease agreements or purchases, land reclassification and municipality/county-level rezoning procedures, grid connection and other permitting and licenses for construction and operation of the projects
- Review, process and manage project information, outputs from databases and basic GIS software
- Review, amend and manage relevant project documentation and contracts
- Support the development of investment proposals, project risk assessments and submissions to authorities
- Liaise with in-country partners, landowners, consultants and advisors
- Support the development and management of and report on group entities and project budgets, status, timelines, feasibility, and risks
- Liaise, collaborate and support within a project development team to meet deadlines and targets
Your Profile:
- Proven track record in project development of large-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects from green field until ready-to-build stage
- Understanding of technical, resource and financial feasibility of project development
- Experience, network and knowledge of grid network operators, and relevant authorities and municipalities in Hungary
- Strong affinity with and willingness to apply basic technical and software skills
- Master or bachelor degree in a relevant area of expertise is a plus
- Fluent in Hungarian and English in word and writing, mastery of additional languages is a plus
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Flexible, creative and entrepreneurial, go-getter, positive attitude, performing under pressure
- Self-driven and independent work talent, performing well in a team
- Attention to detail while seeing the bigger picture
- Based in Hungary, with flexibility to work from home, and willing to travel around and outside of Hungary
