Your tasks will include:

• Prepare in-house drawings and technical specifications for electrical works (BOM, BOQ, RFP)
• Design of all electrical systems for medium and large-scale PV systems (DC, AC, LV, HV, communication systems/SCADA, earthing and lightening protection)
• Preparation of design packages for various project phases such as conceptualization, planning, tendering and execution
• Preparation of power flow scheme and SLD
• Review of vendor designs and drawings
• Coordination and communication with third party technical advisors
• Finalization of As-Built documentation together with onsite construction team, assisting Post Construction Management and Asset Management team

Your Profile:

• Sound in design knowledge in areas of solar plant layouts, SLD, Power Transmission, System loss calculation, & general electrical requirements of large-scale solar power plants
• Developing design documents using AutoCAD and other tools
• Knowledge of electrical components/system design, identification of right specification according to the project specification as per the standards.
• In depth knowledge in cables, transformer, switchgear, relay, earthing and protection system
• Vendor Management, detailed project BOQ for the electrical portion & seamless coordination with site team
• Software skills like AutoCAD (mandatory) and MS office
• Willingness to travel

Qualification and Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Institute of repute
• Min 5 years of relevant industry experience in solar plant design
• Knowledge of  IEC codes and industry practices
• Languages: English is our day-to-day working language, knowledge of other language will be advantage
