
Senior Group Accountant (m/f/d)

The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India, and South East Asia.
The Senior Group Accountant is responsible for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements according to German GAAP and IFRS and ad-hoc financial reports. The role also involves being the contact person for internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting related topics.
The main purpose of the role is to prepare complete and correct consolidated financial statements and to provide reliable accounting advice
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements according to German GAAP and IFRS
- Review financials of the group's subsidiaries to ensure uniform accounting and valuation throughout the group
- Preparation of (ad-hoc) financial reports and financial analysis
- Provide reliable accounting advice to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient use of consolidation software LucaNet
- Manage projects for group-wide standardization and harmonization of group accounting processes
- Develop and implement new processes in group accounting
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, accounting, economics, MBA, or industrial engineering with a focus on (group) accounting, financial reporting, finance, or auditing
- 5-7 years of sound professional experience in group accounting, reporting, and consolidation of an internationally oriented company and/or in an auditing firm
- Key technical accounting skills according to German GAAP and/or IFRS
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- Practical experience with LucaNet or other consolidation software
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal. German is a nice to have
