Intro Paragraph
The Senior Project Development Manager will be responsible for the development of onshore wind energy projects, which may include solar and storage components. Since beginning of 2023, ib vogt has built a pipeline of large scale onshore wind projects. With the support of direct reports, the Senior Project Development Manager will be responsible to manage, develop and progress this wind Project pipeline further. The Senior Project Development Manager will report directly to the Head of Business Development.
Your Job
  • Manage project development from Greenfield to Operation according to high, international standard.
  • Initial focus on ongoing projects in the Philippines in collaboration with the Market Head and Regional Director.
  • Manage budgets, milestones, schedules, and deliverables for assigned development projects.
  • Review of project agreements such as PPAs, Interconnection Agreements, Lease Agreements, EPC and O&M Contract etc.
  • Secure and management of project agreements and permits such as Service Contracts with the DoE, Land Agreements, Environmental Compliance Certificate etc.
  • Engage and manage service provides for project studies such as the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, System Impact Study, Topographic Survey etc.
  • Interface with all project’s functional areas: Engineering, Grid, ESG, Finance, Accounting, Legal etc.
  • Work with finance department during financial feasibility analysis, evaluation, and during the project debt and tax equity financing processes.
  • Engage local community for project support.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and consultants to maintain project timeline, value optimization, and budget.
  • Coordinate and provide input to project interconnection requests, load-flow and congestion studies, and other necessary aspects of securing project transmission.
  • Managing and tracking existing development contracts Management of project due diligence processes Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders during project implementation.
Your profile
  • Master or Bachelor ‘s Degree in a relevant subject area;
  • A minimum of 5-year experience in the wind or at least renewable energy sector;
  • Proven Project development skills in large scale wind or comparable projects;
  • Understanding of the structure of large-scale renewable energy projects;
  • Attentive to details as well as being able to understand the broader picture;
  • Self-driven and able to work flexibly with stakeholders from different cultures;
  • Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects Fluent in English. Additional languages would be an asset;
  • Good verbal and writing skills in English;
  • Team player and can be able to work with minimal supervision.
