Your tasks will include:

• Management of the project development team for solar pv and battery storage projects in Finland, with possibility to expand to wind
• Overall responsibility for development of Finnish project pipeline from origination to financial close
• Participating in land acquisition, permitting, grid design and techno-economic optimisation of the projects as required
• Overall responsibility for development budgets, schedules, and project deliverables
• Developing relationships with landowners, permitting authorities, grid operators, advisors and other relevant stakeholders
• Coordination of internal collaboration between the local development team and other project team members at Berlin headquarters and globally

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects in Finland
• University degree (preferably master’s) with technical or business focus or equivalent training
• Proven track record in the development of large-scale renewable energy projects
• Expertise in securing land and grid capacity, as well as land use planning and permitting
• Good understanding of the business model and market dynamics of renewable energy development
• Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in English and Finnish is required, Swedish would be desirable
