Intro Paragraph
As a member of the PPA team, the working student will be responsible to support ib vogt in becoming a supplier of choice for green electricity to utilities/traders and commercial and industrial customers (C&I), and the key provider of services from battery storage and other future assets developed by ib vogt. The working student will support the Team across multiple markets worldwide.
The preferred candidate has study or professional experience in a commercial function, preferably in a client-facing role within the energy sector. The working student will work closely with the commercial managers in the team for the structuring of PPAs and other forms of power supply/hedging agreements across different geographies.

Your Job
- Support the origination of long-term and short-term power purchase agreements (PPAs), as well as other agreements needed for the commercialisation of power from assets under development
- Prepare and submit request for proposal (RFPs) and request for information (RFIs) of energy buyers either directly or in coordination with external consultants
- Support internal analyses of commercial offers received as well as the development of commercial offers made to utilities/traders and industrial customers
- Support the review of term sheets and power purchase agreements in negotiations
- Prepare documentation required for the negotiation of power purchase agreements and other types of offtake contracts
- Help in keeping updated the internal database of sale leads and extract relevant analytics from internal databases and sources
Your profile
- Bachelor degree in economics, business administration, law or engineering. Master degree would be a plus
- Strong commercial and proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative across multiple tasks
- Strong negotiating and problem solving skills
- Intercultural competence and team-player
- Flexibility in working remotely
- Languages: English (native speaker or excellent command), additional languages welcome (especially Polish, Romanian or Hungarian)
